This Korean SPF Is So Good That It’s Become My Go-To Formula

Ask any dermatologist or aesthetician, and they’ll tell you that sunscreen is the most critical step in a skincare routine. Without it, all of the other steps, including expensive serums, toners, and moisturizers, are for naught. That’s because the sun’s UV rays will accelerate aging, create new skin concerns, and most importantly, increase the potential for serious health issues.

Knowing this, I’m super diligent about applying daily sunscreen, but not just any old sunscreen. I’ve been a beauty editor for close to 10 years. After trying almost every sunscreen formula under the sun (pun intended), I have a strict set of standards for my daily SPF. First, it must be a sensorial delight to apply. I’m talking about a lightweight feel, smooth texture, and absolutely no pilling (under any circumstances). Second, it must provide adequate, broad-spectrum sun protection. (I always aim for SPF 30 or higher.) Third, it must make my skin look better than it did before. Yep. I won’t settle for just okay. And I definitely won’t settle for a white cast. I want my sunscreen to make my skin look hydrated, plump, and dewy.
